—Torsion of the testicles is typically found in the prepubertal age group. This case shows the rare finding of testicular torsion in a 24-day-old neonate. This diagnosis is rarely entertained in the emergency department in such a young age group because of the infrequency of its occurrence. Emergency physicians should be aware of this and its presentation in neonates, thereby allowing rapid intervention and preservation of the testicle.
