We read with great interest a meta-analysis published in your journal by Akihisa et
al titled “Effects of sniffing position for tracheal intubation: a meta-analysis of
randomized controlled trials”

]. We congratulate the authors for working on the important and basic issue pertaining
to laryngoscopy and intubation. Positioning during laryngoscopy is of immense importance
for prehospital and resuscitation providers in emergency settings also where, most
